I just got the weekly "stats" of my Z100G. I like getting it to see the effectiveness of my device.

I have noticed that when my Z100G gets a "new" public IP address that new address, often enough, is being attacked at a far higher or lower rate than the "old" IP address.

It occurs to me that the reason for the higher rate that it had likely been the IP address for an infected computer(s) - bots and malware. It also occurs to me that the ISPs must know this.

This appears to be a way to identify where bots and other malware are, but can it be used?
