Hello, I am a new Z100G user (about 1 week). I woke up this morning and began experiencing problems with my internet connection via the wireless LAN via my Z100G. The problem in somewhat unusual. On several of the computers on my home network, attempting to access most pages over the internet over the WLAN results in pages saying "waiting for <sitename>...." which simply never connect. This is using IE7.
There were no configuration changes or other changes that took place. Moreover, I am experiencing this same problem on multiple computers (currently 3) which strongly suggests it is not a local computer issue. The problem is also on both XPS2 and Vista machines.
I have done some basic troubleshooting and this is what I have discovered. My internet connection is fine; I can network directly to my cable modem and get service. Moreover, the Z100G says that it has a good connection to the internet. And if I connect to it via the ethernet LAN, I don't have this problem. The wireless connection between the local machines and the router is fine (they show good signal strength and full connections). Power cycling or resetting the router does not solve the problem. And not all the computers on my network are having this problem all the time. It's not node usage either; I have an active 15-node license.
I think I might have gotten a firmware update last night to 7.0.48x. That is the only thing that may have changed since last evening, when everything seemed to be working just fine.
It's almost as though the router is somehow blocking or preventing normal internet traffic from going through on the browsers of several of the computers on the network. It could also be some kind of DNS issue, since I can ping whatever servers I want through the router (google, yahoo, whatever).
Do any users have any ideas what might be causing the problem, or any troubleshooting suggestions? I also filed a help desk ticket this morning but have not yet heard back. Thanks.

KBR, thanks for the ideas. I have disabled the IPv6 on both Vista machines and power cycled the router several times, but it still doesn't fix the problem. Based on reading through a few other posts, I also created rules to allow traffic between the LAN and the WLAN, but that didn't help either.
I am thinking it must be some sort of resolution issue through the wireless. As I mentioned, I can connect fine to the internet through the LAN. I also discovered that I can ping through a command prompt, even from the machines that are getting the IE error via the wireless. Currently I have 5 PCs running (and 2 Tivos). The Tivos and 2 of the machines (both desktops running XP) can connect to the internet just fine. The 3 laptops (2 Vista and 1 XP) cannot. So I don't know if it is something about the laptop/wireless interaction either.
I still haven't heard from sofaware support and live chat has been unavailable all weekend. Let me know if you have any other ideas! Thanks.

make sure you arent' going over the five license limit. I had issues with my PDA nocking off my wife' s laptop because it was the sixth item on the network.
Thanks for the last two posts. The laptops do appear under active computers. And I already upgraded to the 15-node license, so I shouldn't have any problems there since I don't go over 8 nodes even when everything is connected.

sorr, you did say you had the license. The only time my daughters see that is if they are hitting a site that is blocked by the Website Filtering. I do have teh WLAN and LAN bridged but that shouldn't prevent you from getting to legit sites if bridging is not enabled
I did look at Sofaware right now and the support chat link is live.
Just to update folks, I had a 2.5 hour live chat session yesterday with Sofaware on this problem. It didn't really resolve anything, but they seem convinced that it is some sort of DNS problem over the WLAN. I have given their senior engineers remote access to my router and one of the macines experiencing the problem, and they are supposed to be doing futher testing and getting back to me within the next day. I'll update when I hear more from Sofaware.
