I finally got around to configuring the VPN - however I noticed it seems to dynamically create a new source subnet for traffic originated from the remote VPN client. I will need to add this as a trusted subnet to my HIDS on the local hosts I wish to manage remotely.
Will this subnet and the range of IPs in it change or is it safe to assume all VPN traffic will be come from it from now on? Under Tunnels the Source is listed under "Phase 2." |
