I have a webserver running HTTP and HTTPS on their normal ports. Since I upgraded to firmware 8 I've been seeing strange behavior. Trying to access the site from the internal network barely works (most of the time it times out) and externally it is very slow, especially if you're loading multiple large images simultaneously. It's almost like it's connected via a 56k modem - however I have a 30MBps down / 5MBps up business class connection. Accessing the site by internal IP works fine.
The webserver runs a dynamic DNS client in Linux so I setup the following rules. They seemed to work with Firmware 7. SSH still seems to work fine. Rule Type - Source - Destination - Options 1) Allow and Forward - Any - This Gateway:Web Server - Forward to: Web Server Internal IP 2) Allow and Forward - Any - This Gateway:443(TCP) - Forward to: Web Server Internal IP 3) Allow and Forward - Any - This Gateway:SSH - Forward to: Web Server Internal IP |
