Dick,
Can you elaborate more on your question? Where exactly are you entering this url and what is it not doing for you? the rocket |

If this occurs on your wireless clients, I had the same issue. I had to refresh/reload the web page all the time because the page could not be displayed.
I believe it is a result of the wireless clients renegotiating the wireless connection with the router every 10 minutes. I worked with support to increase this timeout from 10 minutes to one hour. I hope this helps. |

I also belive I have seen this issue. Is there a procedure available to increase the wireless timeout from 10 minutes to one hour. I would like to try that to see if cuts down the cannot display web page or dns error messages that usually work if I click a 2nd time. Is this something I can do or do must I contact support to have them do it?

### The information posted below is for informational purposes only. Use at your own risk - Please contact support if you are in doubt or for assistance with issue. I am not responsible for any changes you perform to your device.###
To change the timeout, a configuration script is involved and you import the configuration file into your router. I would post it, but my configuration may be different than yours. On a second thought (I have not tested), you can export your configuration to a file and edit the file using notepad or notepad++ the following (if you use WPA2 w/ tkip): # WPA settings Change- group-key-update-interval 600 To- group-key-update-interval 3600 Save & import the configuration back into the router. You can also just copy the WPA settings from the cfg file into a new file and call it WPA.cfg update the timeout and save file. Import to the z100g. # Configuration script # WPA settings ***Enter updated configuration here*** # END Configuration script Good luck. |

You didn't quote the server response to the first request, but it sounds like your server is feeding back a corrected url to googlebot. Depending on what that response is, exactly, you may be in good shape. But there's a chance the server is not giving the right response and then googlebot will never stop asking for the single slash. The IP address you quoted is in the range owned by Google, so this is probably not a hack attempt by someone faking a googlebot user agent. |
