Just wondering if by turning off ARP protection(on Zone Alarm Secruity Suite(software version installed on PC) and allowing my Router to find my computers MAC address if this is a Secuirty issue or not?

ARP resolution takes place on the data/network layer (OSI 2/3).

Security at these levels is more important to enterprise and high security organizations.

I'm afraid I cannot assist to much in this matter as I have no knowledge on the ZA software solution however I don't think there's much of a security risk to allow ARP in a home/SOHO environment.
