All of the PCs or laptops in the house have an error messages concerning Norton's 360 updates, that it could not update all of the product. These are the virus updates that are pulsed every 15 minutes or so. The definitions on Norton's control center said the virus defs did update. Confirmed by Norton's remote help.

About a week or so ago after spending about 3 hours on 1 PC with Norton's remote help, they wanted to reinstall the product. I refused, stating that this is happening on all 6 machines in the house.

Last weekend I turned off the Z100G Vstream antivirus, and Norton's update completely. Turned on all the machines in the house, and they all updated completely. So I turned Vstream back on.

Today once again I noticed the error message on this machine. Turned on 2 others, the same update error.

I turned off Vstream, and the updates for Norton are complete for this machine and the other 2, no error message.

So what is Vstream antivirus blocking?

My guess would be that the Z100G is interpreting the NAV "signature" file as an actual "virus" rather than what it is ... a "description of what the virus looks like" ... I think I can see how the Z100G could get confused ;-)
