YES - same thing here and now nothing works - AGAIN - AS USUAL! At the least opportune moments. Did I mention lately that I HATE this product? WTH?? Of course, online support is unavailable.
The weekly email report states 2 firmware updates were done. From other messages in the forum it appears that there was an update to 8.0.34 and then a downgrade back to 7.5.55x. I guess 8.0.34 had some major issues. It doesn't look good.
Unfortunately online support is not available at the moment, so there's no one to ask.
I am showing Firmware Version 8.0.34x. So I have not been down graded yet. Everything appears to be working fine and so far I am not having any issues.
I'm in same boat as kradd00... I apparently had 8.0.34x pushed to me recently and did not know it until I checked the version after reading the forums here....
Update seems to be transparent and caused no issues for me as of yet....

Fifteen minutes ago my Z100G was upgraded to 8.0.34x. Hopefully it won't revert to 7.5.55x again.
Mine was back to 7.5.55 yesterday from 8.0.33x. LiveChat unavailable all day, and support emails went unanswered. However, this morning I was at 8.0.34x. SofaWare support is unresponsive, but it would help considerably if the support web site announced there was a problem and it was being worked on. Frustrating when there is no communication.
Same here, had 8.0.33 then yesterday it went to 7.5.55 and my password did not work. Opened a problem ticket last night. This morning it's back to 8.0.34 and back to normal. No big deal, it just would have been nice if they would have shot everyone an email explaining things. No word back yet on problem ticket.
This issue might have occured if the appliance did not suceed to download the firmware correctly and after it restatrted, it gone back to the backup firmware.
All gateway in this service center were upgraded to 8.0.34, unless not connected to service center. If you should have any other issue, pleae contact our support.

How does it NOT work... Instead of just venting explain WHY its not working for you and perhaps someone can chime in.. If its because it's the cost of nodes, your SOL, remember the fact that they basically port the ZA100 firmware from one of their higher end buisness units... so they will not add any features that will dilute the value of these products. In general, theres a few annoyances with the ZA100 but I havent had any showstopping problems.. You dont hear people having their routers fry or reboot on them in a loop (usually).. try saying that about some of the crap on the market..
I have mixed views about the support as of late myself, sometimes theres a communication difficulty getting them to understand whats wrong.. tend to use the email support for this reason..
To be frank 8 is a significant upgrade for the ZA100 and as of any updates theres gonna be a dash for the few who things DONT go quite right, but hang in there.. Seriously try email support..Really not a big fan of the online support sometimes..
Once you get 8 installed and it doesnt downgrade that is...
