In most home locations, you will not notice the difference between 100 mb ethernet and 1000 since the bottleneck is the incoming data connection.. (yes it will speed up inter-pc communications, but if done improperly, could be limited by devices that do not run at 1000 throttling down the entire switch! Regardless, I would like to see a CPU upgrade in addition to gigabit ethernet, ideally with N in the mix,
Hopefully they wont waste their time with frivoulus extras like a webcam (for which there is NO standard, closest thing to a *standard* would be the USB UVC class video)... but mebby basic QOS and better support for VOIP/Vonage devices, since my wan connection to the internet does use QoS (Verizon Fios)...
