I'm currently using a LINKSYS WRT54G broadband router for my home network. I use a VONAGE device (telephone adapter), Motorola VT2142VD, for internet phone service. Internet connection is via high-speed cable using an RCA Digital Broadband cable modem.

Will the Z100G replace the functionality of the WRT54G? Should I experience any difference, good or bad, in the network performance?

Are the Z100G and the VT2142VD fully compatible?(Maybe I should ask Motorola...or VONAGE?)

ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite software subscription costs $50. I believe that includes software firewall, Anti-virus, Anti-spam, Anti-spyware, and some other features related to identity theft and parental controls. I believe the annual Z100G subscription is $70.

Does the Z100G subscription include all the ISS software features? Does the Z100G subscription include some additional software features not provided by the Internet Security Suite software alone?

Can someone explain, in more-or-less non-technical terms, the advantage(s) of using the Z100G over my current configuration, which includes only the hardware mentioned above and the ZA Internet Security Suite?
