I'm looking to purchase the Z100G and was hoping to get a couple of questions answered first.

1) My desktop system will remain "wired". I currently have ZA Pro & Norton AV installed on it. I'm really hoping to be able to remove ZA Pro because I want to upgrade Norton and the new version doesn't play well with ZA. Are most of you running both a software & hardware firewall or just the hardware one?

2) My laptop is used to RAS into the system at work. Are there any issues that I should be aware of?

You should have both a hardware and a software firewall. Think of it as a defense in depth. The software firewall also helps prevent attacks from other computers on the network that might be infected.

I use my company's VPN solution (Cisco) and have no problems with the Z110G. I did have to open up the ports that it needs to connect though. I use wireless to connect my company laptop to the network so that works also.
