I have the strange problem that completely randomly my internet access from all PCs is blocked and I get the "Server not found" message. It kind of builds up in a way that at first it occurs 2-3 times a day, than maybe 2-3 times an hour until I just can't access anything anymore - or it just goes away. The Z100G sits behind a DSL router and I believe the problem lies within the Z100g for two reasons: 1) When I got the router in June last year up until the version change in November/December last year I never had this problem, and 2) when I bypass the Z100G and connect directly through my router I don't get "Server not found". Also, there is no indication of any problem in the event log. I'm running now version 7.5.51, which I was hoping would solve this problem, but it didn't.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

I have had the same problem.
I am also using the Z100 behind a router (Zoom 5590)-- changing the Zoom's configurationn from router to halfbridge to the Z100 set to a DMZ address on the Zoom made no difference. Setting my computer as a network object and trying fixed network IP adresses as well as varying the speed/duplex settings also had no effect.
I found that I could not access the Z100 interface when this happened and also found that using the Windows "repair connection" fixed things for a short (and progressively shorter) time, so thought the problem lay between my computer and the Z100.
Had the same problem using my wife's laptop both wired and wireless.
Finally I turned off ZA Security Suite and SpySweeper and the problem disappeared and has not come back (1 day) even though I have restarted these programs and have rebooted more than once since then.
On my wife's computer, turning off just SpySweeper did the trick!
I am hoping you will reply that you also use SpySweeper but if SpySweeper is the culprit, it is hard to believe that this problem has not been noted sooner than this.
If not, hopefully someone else will have an explanation and solution which will permanently solve things for both of us.

While it's WORKING use the z100g tools to do a TRACEROUTE and PING to your DNS servers or something like www.google.com ( I Prefer at least the DNS servers AND google.com).

Copy the result to a text file and save it.

Later when the access is dropped, do another traceroute and ping to the same places and compare the result.

On CHARTER cable, I've been able to tell the tech where exactly in THEIR network the problem lies a couple of times.

Any 10.x.x.x, 172.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x is internal to you or the DSL provider. If you start getting other addresses you're getting out to the internet.

Bottom line - it's always good to have traces when something works to compare to when it ain't working.

I'm not using Zone Alarm Security Suite and not using Spysweeper. Instead I have Eset NOD32 Antivirus and Spywar Doctor. But these programs don't interfere as far as I could see. Also, I can access the Z100 interface and I can also access other PC's on my network. It's only the internet that causes problems.
I'll try use the tools as Stan suggested to see if I can figure out something.
