Is there any way to assign a range of IP addresses to the Z100 so that you can have some static addresses available?

Sure, Under My Network, Edit Network Settings for the LAN and specify an allowed IP range for your network. Then under the DHCP Server set the DHCP IP Range for something within the allowed IP Range but smaller allowing for however many static IP addresses reservered.
