I ahve been getting DOS attacks on both of my routers including this one, where i get isp ip disconnect then reconnect,,,have also had no connection for like 30 min....does this mean my isp server is being attacked?

I ahve been using eve online game and suspect hackers are attacking my isp or router and causing my connection to the eve servers to be dropped, through killing the connection from router to my isp...

This is getting to be a big issue at least in the game, and wondering what i should do about it?

turns out the cable modem was shot im gueessing or the mac addres of the cable modem was compromised installed a new one works fine...

would be nice though if someone could list some rules to add for the game EVE-online so I can run the game in high security mode

Got new cable modem was working fine last night then this morning i have the ZA100G trying to get and adress from the ISP holds it for about 2-3 min then losses connection then re-assings same ip again to the router etc, sometimes this goes on all day sometimes i get a stable connection...
So now that i ruled out its not the cable modem there is only 1 thing left the router!!!!!!!
The charter technican said the connection to the isp was fine wheter he knew what he was doing? i dont know?

Conatacted sofware and they suggested i put a log on the connnection from the cable modem to the computer by-passing the router to make sure its not an isp thing and it is indeed a router bug or hack...will get back on this!!

Is anyone esle having issues with the router loosing its ip address and then re-assinging it again??????/
