I've tried several rules to allow acces to shares among computers on my LAN and WLAN, but nothing seems to work. I've tried editing the hosts an lmhosts files - no joy. I cannot even ping any of them from any others, only from the router, itself. I cannot see them in Network Neighborhood, nor connect with UNC...

Have you tried "Bridging" the LAN and WLAN? Unless you do that, the two are separate networks.

I too am having the same problem.

Yes - I created a bridge but still cannot access my LAN from my WLAN. I need to gain access to a network harddrive on my LAN from my wireless computers.

I also have ZoneAlarm Security Suite installed on all computers and have turned that off but still have no luck.

I am running Firmware version 7.0.48x on my Z100G.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Hi Greybeard,

From the WLAN edit screen, use the "Wireless Wizard." On the second screen select "Bridge Mode." I went through a number of tries first. I had already added a bridge, so after the Wirless Wizard, I had to manually set my LAN and WLAN to Bridges Mode, and assign them to the bridge I had created. According to SofaWare, you don't need to create the bridge before running the Wireless Wizard.

After getting the setting correct, my wireless computers' ZoneAlarm recognized a new network, which I added to the trusted zone.

Hope this helps!

Hey ssflyer,

Thanks for your help! It worked GREAT! I thought I had tried everything, guess I was wrong.

Thanks again...
