Just setup my z100g, I have not been able to get the printer to connect properly. It's a Canon, Pixma MP780. When the printer is turned on the USB light blinks then turns off on the z100g. The ports page says 'not connected'. The diagnostic page sees the printer hooked up to the USB port. I have tried power cycling the z100g, computer and printer with the same results. firmware 7.5.48. Have not activated free subscription. Using Wildblue satellite for ISP, running XPHome sp3, ZA internet security suite, 2 LAN, 1WLAN router part working fine.

I am having the exact same problem with both a Cannon MX310 and a HP2600n.

Is it possible we have a defective unit, or are we missing some vital step.
