Hello.
This is a new installation - and I'm new to hardware firewalls in general.

On restart, the first entry in the report log is:

"Error: Failed to verify the security certificate. Reason : Certificate not yet valid."



Reviewing user guide it states certificates are installed during setup and new ones should not be required. When looking at the certificates under VPN - two are installed. However, BOTH are listed as invalid because the "Valid From" date is set to the future (December 3, 2009). Shouldn't these certificates be valid as of now?

The screen displays "Warning: The certificate is not valid".

I would like to know if I should leave these as is or create self-signed certificates and override them.

Note, I have no need for VPN access at the moment so VPN is currently disabled.

Please advise.

this means that either the clock on the appliance is not set correctly therefore making the certificate invalid
please fix the clock and then reissue the certificate from a self sign wizard under vpn-->certificate
