I was looking at the ZA Wireless router, and I noticed that it has gateway-level Antivirus. I've always wondered about this. What happens when it detects a virus? Does it tell you? My big concern would be false positives. Is there some sort of quarantine procedure, in case it detects something that is NOT a virus?

We have the embedded Vstream Anti Virus .
It checks inbound and outbound traffic .
By default for email , pop3/smtp and imap traffic , but this can be changed if needed .
We show if a virus was detected in the unit itself , at reports > event log .
We had maybe 0.001% of false detects .
Which were checked and then fixed after we received the file to our support center .
As the anti virus is on the unit it does not enter your network at all so you do not receive an email about this .
It will however show up also in the weekly report you receive from us .
