Why do SofaWare takes such a long time processing orders?
Why can't activation or user upgrade purchase be in real time like most other companies who do business on the internet?
This is the first time in years where I encounter await of any type in user activation or upgrade purchase!

Do these guy's realize that people need to go on with their lives! Between me and wife working, the kids using their computers we need to take turns. And when someone's turn is up they need to wait for an hour before they could log on! And that is after them taking my money for a user upgrade two days ago.

This is a great product but has two problems that will defiantly not get any repeat business from me or anyone I know,

1. Greed, first home based gateway that I have seen where you need to purchase a license for extra users. And these extra users are not PC's, my phones go online to sync time, my NAS and DVR's check for a software upgrade once a day. These packets are nearly zero take a fraction of a second to process and yet they eat up a user license. Even with the user upgrade that I have purchased more than 48 hours ago and did not yet get I will be having license issues. I love the product, but it will not last long in my house! Look for it on eBay in four to five months unless these issues are fixed!
2. Poor order process ability! I don't care how busy any company or an employee is, a customer should not wait 3 days (hopefully) for a license code that should be arriving via email. THIS NEED TO BE AUTOMATED PEPOLE! And should take no longer than an hour!

This is hilarious!! I was just sitting here stewing about exactly the same thing.

I bought an 15 license upgrade two days ago and have been waiting for a freaking e-mail with the new code. What's even more frustrating is since I purchased it using the link provided on the router's home page it seems like they could just automatically upgrade the license, they update everything else...

When I looked my order is "Pending". Pending what? For someone to come in Monday and manually process it? What the heck? Have these guys ever heard of e-commerce? It hasn't posted to my card so obviously they don't do real time transactions.

I was irritated enough to have to pay another $99 bucks to get 1 more node, I need six of course, and now I have to wait days after purchase to actually get the license code.

I too think it's a great product but the consumer interactions of this company could use an overhaul. Get with the times folks!!


I'm not a security guru. Yet...

We are taking them very seriously and
plan to change the order management
method within the upcoming months.
