Over the weekend I recieved firmware 7.0.36x but haven't found any new options or settings in it.. What does it do?.. Or is it an intermediate release before it enables transparent bridging?

7.0.36 (released only for Z100 customers) incorporates the ability to bridge the WLAN and LAN together (edit the WLAN network to see and use the feature).

One note for people trying to access the bridge in the new firmware...

Only saw it when i went to Edit WLAN *AND* used the Wireless Wizard... the Wireless Wizard exposed the Bridge option

I could be wrong, but the one thing with using the wireless wizard i noticed is it *remebers* your settings... though i couldnt find a drop down or radio button for choosing to bridge anywhere in the Edit WLAN screen.. Other question is should we remove the WLAN:LAN ANY and the LAN:WLAN any rules from the rules table?

This has also been resolved and there will soon be a KB item with instructions.
Until then (next couple of days) you can chat with the support team and have them set the wireless to TKIP.
If after this the issue persists disable the WMM option (under WLAN>show advanced).

Once the issue is solved please make a backup of your configuration (setup>tools>export).

Erez Kalman, thanks for your time and commitment to answer us all.

As I said before I'll wait till the Wireless security setting on auto/tkip/aes is enable at the firmware level to all of us.

Ok Erez.. wheres the KB article on how to do this
I saw something in the KB with a config file but that wouldnt run on the ZA100...

Also what is up with
http://sofaware.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/123103813...541030434#1541030434

You mentioned adding a rule to block devices from obtaining a license. how does one go about doing this and is it enabled?

Id love to see some release notes/documentation on the *features* added to 7.0.36x in addition to the transparent bridging which really rocks...

7.0.36 arrived just in time (although it was several hours from the time I put the router back on line until it downloaded the new firmware). The bridge works fine, and computers on my wireless network can finally see the wired side. The Z100G looks like it will work for me after all, since now I can see my network drive and printer. This is a very welcome development. Thanks to Erez and the Sofaware team for addressing this issue.

Good stuff! Another welcome addition would be a change log/history for the firmware releases on in the actual admin GUI.
