I'm trying to configure the Printer Network Capabilty with my Router.

When I log onto the Zonealarm Firewall the > Network > Port Tab shows my Printer but I'm unable to Print

Any Help

In Vista, I had to reload the printer drivers - strange but true. Vista is not my favorite OS :-(

Also check the port - 9101 or 9102 depending on which USB port on the router you plug it into.

(I no longer have the printer hooked up to the router because I have it local now but when it was on the router it worked fine.)

What really amazes me is how the printer manufacturers avoid putting ethernet ports on all printers (in addition to the USB port). I will not buy a printer without networking capability since we have half a dozen computers in the house (including my work one).

I had similar problem, but it was fixed once I rebooted my computer.
