Just installed the new Z100g & it's working fine. Can someone advise on the following: I can suppress SSID & still access the network via my laptop by wireless no problem.

However, when I suppress MAC, I cannot sign on. If I was signed on on my laptop & I flip the switch on MAC, I get dropped off. If i have not signed on on my laptop, it won't let me sign in even when the laptop "sees" the nonbroadcasting network.

Is there something I need to tweak on the laptop end in order for it to talk to a nonbrdcasting network with MAC turned off?

Thank you.

I am assuming when you say "suppress MAC" you mean MAC Address Filtering (from the actual configuration page for wireless)?

If that is the case you just need to add your PC as network objects first. So disable MAC Address Filtering then connection AP via the WLAN network.
Then goto Reports Section/My Computers tab and you see your PC listed under the WLAN section. Just clock +Add on the side and follow the steps. The enable MAC Address Filtering.
