Any ideas when well see an update to 7.0.38x that fixes the web blocking issue amongst other things... downgrading everyone is really only a temporary solution
Tech support told me last week a fix was suppose to be distributed this week. I haven't seen anything yet and sorry to say, I am starting to believe a lot of the negative comments I'm reading in this forum about this product and the lack of support.
Maybe its just us that expect that everithing must be solved within minutes... Wich I said is: this product see the day of light too early. It's growing with US, beta testers of hardware/software. But to be honest, I'm ok with that ;)

This Z100G is just a downsized checkpoint internet security appliance based on other models (safe office/VPN Edge), not new groundbreaking technology. I kinda expect it to be further along as a secure router than what I have seen and experience so far with it now. I didn't buy a beta product or expect beta testing the Z100G for it limited use and support.

I would argue that this is the most secure home router on the market. I have tested against many other devices and it has passed with flying colors.
Where the issue comes in is with trying to make something that is remarkeably secure become easy to use. If you think this is difficult, you should see the credentials of all the Cisco-certified people it takes to configure a Cisco firewall to do what this little router can do.
Keep the faith. Worse case, you can't play a few games but then you don't have Igor over in Russia stealing all your credit card information.
