My windows PC auto-adjusted for the DST screwup..

What is the best way to do it in the router?

The router doesn't auto adjust for DST - Our recommendation is to set the appliance to use a time server (NTP) such as time.nist.gov and then just manually change the offset to match the new time zone.

Already set it to NTP but for some reason it didnt want to auto-adjust... ended up having it retrieve the time from windows... then set it back to NTP request.. Doing the offset woulda probably been better but didnt see the option..

Thanks

I also did not see option to change the offset. Can this be done from the browser or does it need to be done from the CLI? I also presume that it will need to be manually updated when DST changes back. If so this is not really a good solution. I really have no desire to manually change the time on multiple units twice a year.

The GMT offset can be set under setup>tools>time

Are there any plans to fix this? I have mine set to GMT -7 (I am in Utah and we are in the Mountain time zone). Clock on router says it has updated but is still 1 hour off. Is Sofaware / ZoneAlarm working on this issue?

I suspect that the Z100G does not take daylight savings into account. I have mine set to -7 to amke the time right in the Pacific time zone.

That is noted in the above post by Erez. What I am asking is if they are working to fix that. (the fact that it doesn't auto adjust)

It's pretty silly that they would design a device that doesn't already have that feature.
