Actually 7.0.39x caused me issues coming from 7.0.38x ... The web filter was still broken.. The fix was to have them downgrade to 7.0.36 then force an upgrade to 7.0.39....

Now the web filter options are all there where they should be ;)

I didn't even notice the upgrade until I checked the board last night and saw this thread. All my web filter categories are back, and all appears well!

There seemed to have been an issue for some Z100 appliance's with the web filtering.

Thank you all for giving us a heads up regarding this issue so that we could promptly resolve the issue in 7.0.39

Cheers! ;-)

Mine was also upgraded from 7.0.36x to the 7.0.39x and although the categories are all there, one of the categories cannot be changed. If I click on the "unknown websites" it the red X appears quickly but then changes back to a green checkmark. Has anyone noticed this as well?

Regards,
Michael...

Same here, Mike. Good catch. Have you contacted tech support yet?

Same here as well. I went from 7.0.38.

One more note: When I tested this, I changed the "unknown sites" from a check to an x, "Bypass scanning if Service Center is unavailable" changes to an x from a check once the page is refreshed-even as the 'unknown sites" category goes back to a check by itself.

This only happens when I change the "unknown sites" category. "Bypass scanning" will stay checked if I don't touch the "unknown sites" category.

Well I contacted support and they said that they are already aware of the issue. They told me that it does indeed work except that the GUI does not refresh properly. The tech I talked to logged into the router and enabled it for me so now I do see it as X'd and the "unknown websites" are indeed blocked on my end.

One thing that you can try (although I don't know if it will work) is to try to activate it and then with another browser window go to an unknown website (such as microsoft.com), if your able to get to the website, check it again and then try to go to the website again, should be blocked at that point.

Regards,
Michael...

I had considered that and it doesn't block it.
