It looks like the 7.5 firmware has been released. I just checked my box and now have: 7.5.40x

Manual is also published.

One thing I have noticed in the last upgrade cycle was that after the firmware updates I had to reboot the router manually to get e-mail working again. I use the Eudora client and after updating it could not access the mailservers. I do have VStream enabled to scan POP servers. Browsing was NOT affected.

Anybody else see this issue?

I am now having to reboot it every few days as I lose connection to the internet completely. I am not sure if this is the same issue or not.

I have noted that sometimes it is not the Z100 having a problem but the DSL link I have. Rebooting the DSL then works.

Last night I had the problem again - Eudora could not contact the POP server for any of my e-mail several accounts that are spread across 2 POP servers.

I went into the Z100G and just turned off VStream checking of e-mail and Eudora was then able to retrieve my mail. weird....

Now the router is randomly rebooting... I wonder if this firmware is "not ready for prime time".

Hmmmmmmmmm I have not had that problem fortunately.

Have you tried soft reboot?

Unplug it for a while let it cool off and see if it behaves when cool?

Maybe you have a hardware issue?

I have not looked to see if we can flash backwards to an older level of firmware...

Yes I have. I am troubleshooting the issue right now with tech support but no solution yet.

You can't flash back yourself but tech support will roll you back automatically if you call them and tell them your version.

Jim, where is the 7.5.40x manual published? The only documentation I was able to locate was the 7.5 dated August 2007.

Hmmmmmmm you are correct the Manual was indeed published in August ... but it does say V7.5 firmware on the title page and It is much longer than the V7.0 manual 333 pages vs. 428 pages...

I guess they released the manual before the firmware???
