Hi,
on 7.5.51x I tried copying some files from a LAN server to the server in the DMZ both Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2). This always failed. I then set SmartDefense to default and tried again. I then activated more and more options and filesharing still works however it's very slow (even with minimal SmartDefense). I updated to 7.5.55x but this didn't help. Anyone else experiencing very slow file copy access from LAN to DMZ? TIA, J. |

On a SecurePlatform based Check Point firewall you can have this issue:
File transfer rate is very slow while copying the files, then connection gets dropped. Check Point's SecureKnowledge article sk32651 talks about this and give a solution by changing the default TCP window size from 10k to 65536 bit. Is there such a command for the SofaWare boxes? I believe this would solve my issue. Has anyone else tried copying files from LAN to DMZ using windows filesharing? I have noticed this very slow (if it evens works at all) at several sites. |
