Hi all.
I'm trying to create two VLANs on my Safe@Office 500 and allowing access from one VLAN to the other but not having any luck. I've created the VLANs (1 and 2) on my firewall successfully using the DMZ port as a trunk port and have created the same VLANs on my Netgear switch, and connected a machine to each VLAN. On both machines I can see the internet, see the firewall, see the switch, but I can't see from VLAN1 to VLAN2. I've added a rule to the firewall allowing traffic and when i try and ping across VLANs I can see the traffic and the allowed packet in the logs, but I never get a response (it's not just pings - i've tried other protocols which I know work if i put the two machines on the LAN). Does this point to it being the switch or is my firewall not routing properly? Any help would save me pulling out any more of my hair. Thanks a lot |
