Hi,
I have a problem with a Safe@Office 500. When downloading large file on Internet from LAN, downloads stop. I've tried with different PCs, same results. When connecting directly on router (thus without Safe@Office, no problem. I do not have any logs helping. Any ideas? Txs |

Dear Johny,
Did you try to contact SofaWare support via the live chat to debug the issue? Regards, Ido. |

I took the time to contact the live chat support.
Problem seems to be related to V-Stream antivirus. When deactivating the rule to analyze http traffic, downloads are working well. Ok... but this is clearly a bug. Having an antivirus but not able to filter http... what's this ?! The problem seems to be known by Checkpoint... but when it will be corrected (or sales material updated and customer reimbursed ?! ;-) |

My problem is solved, but it was not AV-related - I opened a case, and actually Ido had the case.
It was related to an old backup firmware on the appliance. A factory reset and tftp upload of a newer firmware solved the problem :-) Best Regards Morten |

Johny,
thank you. I have same problem, but not on all WEB servers, RapidShare.com only. When I disabled rule of AV analize WEB server, the problem solved. |

Yep,
Similar problem here. When i browse to google map, VStream classified as virus and blocked it??? Disable fixes problem immediately. Must be a bug Cheers, Tan |

This is generally due to dropped packets causing you to lose your connection. This shouldn't happen very often, and if it does you may want to check all your cable connections, or if you are using wireless, that your signal strength is strong. When you cancel it, what you had till then is stored in a temp folder so when you re-click the link it picks up from where you left off. |
