So ATT totally messed up and canceled our DSL at one of our remote sites, it took me about 4 days for them to finally get it back up and issue us a new ip. I configured both edge appliances with the new ip, and everything says its working, and internet, remote server access, ip phones all work. The problem is that service goes out all the time. At least once an hour they lose phones, internet, everything.

The router on the vpn site is configured to get dhcp, dns, nat from the main site, and the modem is set up bridged over PPPoE.

When I check the event log on the main appliance I keep getting "Failed to establish vpn tunnel xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" But its showing the old IP of the remote site, not the new one. Could this be the problem? How do I get the appliance to stop trying to establish a tunnel with an ip that isnt there?

I thought I fixed it when I reconfigured the remote site for the new IP.

Sorry if this is cryptic but I am new to this.

Thanks

Did you try to reboot both appliances?
If yes, I suggest opening a ticket with SofaWare support.

Try installing a new certificate on the box who's IP changed. You will have to delete the site on both sides and reconfigure them. This worked for me in a similar situation
