On an EDGE unit, we are trying to open for incoming TCP traffic on port 40 000, and we have created the appropriate rules for it. But the logs still say:

"A connection has been logged by an INSPECT firewall policy rule"

What is this? Is this a built in rule? The security settings are set to "low". Is there a way to disable "default policy rules"?

The only rule(allow/forward) on the unit:

Source: external_specified_IP Dest: internal_specified_IP Service: TCP_40000 Action: Allow/Forward

Allow & Forward rules should be specified with "This Gateway" or another public IP as destination.

Ido.
