We are working now with smp7 because there are interesting new features.:-)
But after copying a plan, we have trouble to modify the new plan. Ex.: If we change in the network objects in the network tab an ip addresse on a object, we have to do this change two time before we can view this change. Also a refresh after the first input will not show the change.

Have anybody an explication.

We have managed to reproduce this problem.
This is indeed an issue with SMP 7.0, and the workaround you described will work correctly.
This problem will be fixed in SMP 8.0.
