First off, I'm clear that all documentation only has references for SOL8 and SOL9. Nevertheless, we have gone ahead and installed on SOL10.

The first error we encountered was the installation script hanging during the pkgadd of GNUmonit. We troubleshooted the process and found that the hang was due to the fact that the "/usr/local" directory did not exist. Once the directory was created manually, the installation (typical primary) finished without any issues.

What we have now run into, is that an "smp_start.sh" command will not report any errors, but when accessing the "http://<ip address>/SMC" URL, we get an apache 500 error.

Looking over the error logs, it seems that the servlet socket is not binding correctly, and a "connection refused" error is thrown. Manually stopping and starting Tomcat gives no errors, but the problem persists.

Has anybody been able to run SMP 6.0 on Solaris 10 successfully, or has run into the same (or other) problems?
