Hi,
I'm currently testing Aladdin eSafe Gateway CVP 5 as the anti-virus for the SMP 5.0.45.

I've also added the Spam plug-in to the Aladdin eSafe Gateway.

On SMP, System > Settings I can chosse Aladdin eSafe as the CVP server type. But once in the plan i cannot enable the Anti-Spam option, i have a red message indicating that the "AntiSpam service could not be supported by the configured CVP".

Despite this issue, it seems to work fine. i mean i have Aladdin acting as an Anti-Virus AND Anti-Spam.
Someone could tell me how to make SMP understand that Aladdin is doing AntiSpam?

Hi Kamel,

You must use the "Sofaware CVP Server" in order to be able to use the SMP Antispam service.
When working with another vendor like eSafe, the antispam will work but the you will not be able to use it as a separate SMP service.
