Strangely absent from any of the Sofaware appliances is support for SNMPv3. You would think a security centric device such as this would have support for SNMPv3. This is no different than SSH instead of telnet or SSL instead of native HTTP.

At this point we are recommending the use of SNMP only over VPN or a secure link.
We are considering adding v3 for one of our future versions.
