I would like to be able to "reserve" an node license for use by certain network devices.
So that important people (like network admins ;-) would always be able to acquire an access license when they connect to the network - perhaps this could be added as part of the network object definition, then when a "priority" device connected to the network if all node licenses were already in use the "least recently used" license would be reassigned to the priority user. This would be a big plus for many situations: Dad coming home from work and being unable to access the internet because one of the kids has 4 friends over playing on-line games is the situation we recently had here ;-) Thanks for listening & soliciting user suggestions - I think the Z100G is a fantastic device! Or perhaps something that gives the user of the network object a way to logon to be granted access - much like the popup you get when you try to go to a restricted site.
and thus "bumps" another license holder that has has the least amount of internet traffic over a given time. |
