My firmware just updated - nothing wrong with that I hear you say. Well a couple of things actually.
a) It did it without informing me and rebooted while I was doing some important work and b) apparently (I called) there are no release notes for the new version (from 8.0.39x to 8.0.42x) which seems like a rather large release.
I know I can switch off auto-update but I would forget so please can you 1) find a way of asking to reboot (email sms etc) and also tell me what bugs have been fixed and what wonderful new functions I am getting.

Sorry for the (very) delayed response.
I assume you are using the SofaWare/CP management for your edge device, if so, please contact SofaWare support and ask to define the timeslots when you allow to upgrade your firmware, this will prevent such problematic scenarios in the future.
