I am testing with a couple of Edge devices running 6.5.43x and have a fresh install of NGX R61 SmartCenter. Policy install keep failing with the message "Compatability package is not properly installed or configured". From reading other comments, it looks like I need these LIBSW files - can't find any thing about them in the docs or on the checkpoint site.

Thanks for this, I found them eventually.

I have now replaced the old lib files on the smartcentre server and it is still complaining with the same compatability package message.

I must be missing some thing but I don't know what? Any ideas?

If its a Windows SM you can "cp reset" which should allow it to pick up new firmware. You can alo try to restablish the enrollment fromt he EDGE to the SM.

If it's a Windows SmartCenter, look in Add/Remove Programs and see if there is an Edge entry. I know the R62 SmartCenter has it as part of the default install.
