I am running NGX HFA2 on SPLAT managing a remote Edge X series running 6.0.57. I have updated my libsw to 6.0.57 and can successfully push policy and receive logs from my Edge box on my SmartCenter; however, I keep seeing this error from the box.

I confirmed that the SMS Server has the correct settings http:<ip of sc>:9283 and it lists

Uid IP Address Public Address Bind Active Srvcs
name priv ip pub ip any gpm elm lbm

errors weight clients
null 1 2

Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Forgot to mention, in the log it specifically states:

msg: Error-40014: Invalid base servers in set command [server1:<priv IP> server2:0.0.0.0]

What is the server2:0.0.0.0 about and should server1 be my private IP or the public IP?

Again, when I go to the SMS Server Management page at http://<smartcenter priv ip>:9283 it lists all the correct IP addresses that I have configured for the object (ie the public and private IP addresses).

Wow, I never knew that interface was there. It kind of bothers me that HTTPS doesn't work for it, which restricts its usage to locally from the SmartCenter box.

Since there is already an SSL certificate on the SmartCenter for the Certificate Authority Management Tool on port 18265, I wonder why it wasn't used (hint, hint).

I certainly hope the Internet management traffic to and from the Edge box is encrypted some other way.
